AFMSP Learning Garden
Le Petit potager
This summer, AFMSP is building a learning garden for our children’s summer camps and grade school students. Gardens are a great way to teach new vocabulary, learn through cooperation, combine science and culture (and culture!), and learn about land stewardship throughout the year.
Le petit potager is also an opportunity for the gardeners and green thumbs among us to help us beautify our little corner of Minneapolis. Would you like to volunteer? Follow the link below to join the garden club, or donate supplies to help this garden grow into its amazing potential.
Un grand merci !
The garden is sponsored in part by a GroMoreGood Grassroots Grant, brought to you by The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation and KidsGardening. This grant is designed to bring the life-enhancing benefits of gardens to communities across the United States. Our thanks to Gertens Fundraising as well, our partner in fundraising, as they have donated of supplies and plants to help us establish this learning garden. Merci beaucoup !
