French for Homeschoolers

Add French to your curriculum with a class at AFMSP! We'll take care of the details and you can watch your student begin the road to fluency. There's a plethora of benefits to adding French to their studies and AFMSP is here to help. Classes are available for Pre-K through Grade 12.

Small Class Sizes

At AFMSP our youth classes will never exceed ten students which allows us to offer personalized teaching and ensure each student receives the care and attention they need.

We offer classes for all ages, whether as a support for French classes already being taken, or an addition to your curriculum entirely.

Our classes tackle the grammar and vocabulary of French, as well as a cultural education wherein we explore the Francophone world, giving students a well-rounded French education.

Delf Certification

Put what they're learning in class to good use with a DELF Certification! This internationally recognized official certification verifies a student's level of French and is often used for international universities, jobs, the TAPIF program, and more.

The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) accepts the DELF exam as an approved assessment for Minnesota Bilingual Seals. The A2, B1 and B2 exams are accepted when taken by students in grades 10, 11 and 12. For details and more information please refer to the MDE website.

For more information about exams offered at AFMSP, check out our page for Proficiency Exams, or email us at certifications@afmsp.org and bonjour@afmsp.org.

Meet other homeschoolers

AFMSP offers a place for homeschoolers to come together and socialize while they learn. Our classes foster collaboration and communication as students build their French skills.

We also help students take their French beyond the classroom with social events like Petit Dej’, and our teen club, Les Étoiles du Nord, which hosts events at art museums, cooking classes, film screenings, and more. Keep an eye out for these events on our Events page!
