In partnership with our friends at Thomas Liquors, Alliance Française has curated a dynamic pack of wine for our Fall Wine fundraiser. Arriving right after the autumnal equinox, these wines are for those who are still enjoying those lingering warmer days and the chill of cooler nights as September’s last weeks of summer slip into October’s bright autumn colors.

These two wine packs offer the best of both worlds: West Coast reds that linger lightly over summer’s levity, and French whites that are spun and shaped for alpine cheeses, roasted root vegetables, and autumn’s heartier meals. Reserve your 3 or 6 packs to discover alluring vintages, new regions, and exciting pairings that don’t ask you to choose between summer and autumn, or France and America, and give you the best of both worlds!

About your guide in these wines

PETER VARS

Thomas Liquors’ store manager and specialty wine buyer Peter Vars has a reputation for one of the finest wine palates in the Twin Cities. Peter has completed his certified sommelier studies with the Court of Master Sommeliers, The International Sommelier Guild and The Wine and Spirits Education Trust (Advanced). Peter is very passionate about wine, food and travel and will share his own love for these wines—some of which he stocks regularly, and some which he is bringing in just for you.

Order Pick-Up at Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul

If picking up at AFMSP, please give the name associated with your order to the volunteer in La Boutique and they will retrieve it for you. If the boutique is closed when you arrive, please find the receptionist at the front desk and they will help you retrieve your order. Each pack will be presented in a tote for easy carrying.

Pickup your Fall Wine Club packs beginning October 1.

On weeknights, our doors lock at 6:30 pm, though our building remains open until 8 pm for our evening classes. To pick up after 6:30 pm, please call our front desk (612 332 0436) to be let in to the building.
