Mois de la Francophonie 2024

DÉCOUVREZ le togo !

In March, the Alliance Française of Mpls/St Paul will celebrate Togo during our Mois de la Francophonie, a month-long celebration of a French-speaking country!

Togo, officially the Togolese Republic (French: République togolaise), is a country in West Africa. It is bordered by Ghana to the west, Benin to the east and Burkina Faso to the north. It extends south to the Gulf of Guinea, where its capital, Lomé, is located. It is a small, tropical country, has a population of approximately 8 million, and it has a width of less than 115 km (71 mi) between Ghana and its eastern neighbor Benin.

This year, Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul is celebrating Togo in all its physical wonder, and hosting events for our members and the Twin Cities community to learn about the cultures, traditions, food, and experiences of Togolese people.

Join us during March 2024 at Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul for an art exposition, culinary demonstrations, musical performances, literary talks, and roundtable discussions, to discover more about this fascinating country. We hope you will join us in this month of learning and celebration!
