Suléko Perfume Masterclass - A mimosa Forest in Provence
In winter, the “Route du Mimosa” is a wave of gold, sparkling like the sun, rolling between the snow-covered Alps and the Mediterranean Sea. There lies the Massif du Tanneron, the largest mimosa forest in Europe. Experience this magical moment through the eyes of a passionate perfume-designer!
Our expert Anastasia will guide you to the heart of the Tanneron Forest and then further up the hills where Mimosa is intertwined with eucalyptus trees. We will ‘‘hike’’ on majestic Esterel, the Mediterranean coastal mountain.. Anastasia will show you how Mimosa and Eucalyptus provided by local farmers are processed to obtain a precious “absolue” and essential oil for perfume creation. I will tell you about the language of scents and the secret messages locked in the scent of Mimosa and Eucalyptus. I wish to bring to your home the beauty and poetry of Provence in full bloom and inspire you to visit it yourself one day!

Each participant will receive upon registration :
One dried Eucalyptus leave and/or Mimosa flower.
Mimosa Absolue diluted in alcohol (0,1 ml sample vial)
Eucalyptol diluted in alcohol (0,1 ml sample vial)
*Albho- Eau de Parfum (2ml spray sample)
Paper blotters to discover the scent ingredients and the perfume
The participant can invite ONE friend to join him/her for the masterclass. All the perfume kits will be sent to the Alliance Française. The Masterclass will be broadcasted from our Grande Salle.
About Anastasia Sokolov
Anastasia discovered the world of perfume when she joined the Yves Saint Laurent Beauté marketing team in New York. She then fully immersed herself into this universe, learning about the history of perfume, studying the great masterpieces of French Haute Parfumerie preserved by the Osmothèque Conservatory of Perfume and following high level trainings on scent ingredients and fragrance composition at ISIPCA (the French school of perfumers). She then decided to launch Sulékó, a Perfume House reuniting Perfume and French Artistic Craftsmanship. Her creations were featured in Forbes, FT, Vogue... Anastasia also teaches the Sulékó language of scents through live and online classes.
