Ciné Club - Marmaille

Join us for a French movie night as we watch Marmaille (2024), English title: Mum don't love me no mo', directed by Grégory Lucilly.

Thomas, a 15-year-old teenager from Reunion Island, dreams of winning a breakdancing competition and moving to mainland France. But when his mother suddenly evicts him and his sister Audrey, their world collapses. Placed with their estranged father and left to fend for themselves, they must face abandonment and rebuild their lives.
The screening will be followed by a discussion about the movie led by Abdel Hamouchi, one of our French Instructors who is passionate about cinema.
