It’s the story of a dance. A very large dance. Every summer since 1990, more than 2,000 people come from across Europe to this corner of the French countryside. For seven days and eight nights, they dance again and again, losing the notion of time, defying fatigue and the limits of their bodies. By day they learn the technique behind traditional dances like polka, mazurka, bourrée, gavotte, quadrille and more. In the evening the grand bal brings them together in twists and turns that last until the break of day.
