Bastille Day

Wednesday, July 14 - 5pm to 8pm

Join us for an evening of live music, games, food and festivities as we celebrate the French day of independence, Bastille Day!

The storming of the medieval fortress and prison known as the Bastille on July 14, 1789 signalled the beginning of the French Revolution and the end of the ancien régime for many French citizens. Today, this fête nationale is celebrated every year, and continues to symbolize French indepedence and spirit!

Our Bastille Day celebration will feature live performances by local bands The Whale in the Thames, The trio Francine Roche - Mark Stillman - Jim Price, Afoutayi Dance, Café Accordion Orchestra and more! Delicious treats from Oh Crêpe will be available as well as from several other local food vendors to be determined.

Our marché des créateurs et notre village des associations will feature numerous local artists, businesses, and vendors for you to explore, and many games and activities will be nearby and sure to bring fun for children and adults alike!

This year our celebration will also include an exciting sweepstake with France-Amérique to win a free yearly digital subscription to their magazine (value $89)! This raffle begins July 1st and can be entered until July 14th at midnight CST. Three winners will be drawn and contacted by France-Amérique to receive their subscriptions. To enter the drawing click here!

More details about performances and vendors will come to you soon! We hope to see you there!
