Bastille Day

Wednesday, July 14 - 5pm to 8pm

RAIN OR SHINE!

Join us for an evening of live music, games, food and festivities as we celebrate the French day of independence, Bastille Day!
The storming of the medieval fortress and prison known as the Bastille on July 14, 1789 signalled the beginning of the French Revolution and the end of the ancien régime for many French citizens. Today, this Fête nationale is celebrated every year, and continues to symbolize French indepedence and spirit!

Our Bastille Day celebration will feature live performances by local bands and artists The Whale in the Thames, The trio Francine Roche - Mark Stillman - Jim Price, Afoutayi Dance, Café Accordion Orchestra, Douala Soul Collective, Benjamin Domask and Ariel Begley. Delicious treats from Oh Crêpe will be available! Our marché des créateurs et des associations will feature numerous local artists, businesses, and vendors for you to explore, and many games and activities will be nearby and sure to bring fun for children and adults alike!

Please note: This event is open to the public. Registration is not required, but by registering you have the possibility to add a donation to support our cultural programs and make sure you are on the list for potential updates and any changes in the program.
Merci pour votre soutien !
