Where French Culture Meets the Twin Cities
For a century, Alliance Française has been promoting French language and French-speaking cultures through language classes, social and cultural events and information resources in Minnesota. An independent chapter of a world-wide organization, AFMSP is the 6th largest in the United States.
We believe immersion is the best means of learning French and we owe our success to that philosophy. From the moment you walk through the door, nous parlons français! Our instructors come from France and other French-speaking countries, trained in teaching French as a foreign language. In our classes, students enjoy a simultaneous cultural and linguistic education. Come join a community of French-speakers and Francophiles!
We offer adult and youth classes in 10-week sessions. Registration opens six weeks before the beginning of the session, and our classes follow the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) levels. Learn more →
