Language experts agree, children have a natural ability to learn foreign languages. The earlier they begin, the better they will become.

The Alliance Française offers many classes and events for children to begin, develop and reinforce French language learning:
-
"L'Heure des Petits" is a class for preschoolers aged 3 and a half to 4 that meets once a week for an hour at a time. It is a time for fun in French with songs, games, books and more. Parents are welcome to stay, if they so desire.
-
The Alliance Française of Minneapolis/St. Paul offers a Home School Package to support French language learning in families educating their children independantly.
-
Ciné Kids is a monthly film screening in the Grande Salle of the Alliance Française. Films are shown in French, without subtitles. For the current Ciné Kids schedule, click here.
-
The AFMSP proudly offers Scholarships for 10 and 11 graders who are unable to pursue French langage learning in their school. Scholarships are awarded in June every year. To apply, please contact Executive Director, Christina Selander Bouzouina.
